ABOUT THE NEW GENERATION
The Dance Awards Ireland New Generation programme gives young dancers aged 15–25 the opportunity to become part of Ireland’s national platform for dance, representing the voice, energy and ambition of the next generation.
Our New Generation Advocates take part in a year-long programme of experiences, creative opportunities, industry connections and events, while helping us build a stronger and more connected dance community across Ireland.

THE JOURNEY AHEAD
The New Generation programme is about more than representing Dance Awards Ireland. Throughout the year, our Advocates will take part in a series of experiences designed to connect them with the wider dance industry, create new opportunities and give young dancers a meaningful voice within Ireland’s dance community.
From industry events and masterclasses to content creation, national campaigns and opportunities to connect with dancers and professionals across Ireland and beyond, each Advocate will have their own journey through the programme.
